Shopping the electricity market just prior to expiration of existing supply contracts can be a frustrating experience. Because of the incredible volatility of the electric marketplace, the customer stands an equal chance of obtaining a high price as obtaining a low price. Further complicating the problem is that most customers have been forced to shop the market at the same time of year, usually May or June, when the peak marketing spring demand forces energy prices to climb in response.

To bypass these problems for our customers, we provide th an electricity buying service. We continuously monitor the forward energy marketplace on your behalf. When our analysis indicates the possibility of achievable savings from your account, we will solicit proposals from suppliers to deliver lower-cost electricity beginning with your next available supply term. Customers may also set a savings target they would like to realize through competitive shopping.

Our market timing service is offered at no additional cost to our clients. We do ask, however, that participating customers be prepared to respond to supplier proposals within one business day.

Electricity suppliers now request quick turnaround time so they can lock-in their supply and cover their risk. Also, by presenting multiple clients to suppliers at the same time, a larger "pool" of electric load is created which gives suppliers a better opportunity to cover their risk. Most suppliers will reflect this reduced risk by lowering prices to the customer.
